Group photo

Greetings from Tunxi!
Here are a few snaps from my journey so far.
I love the enthusiasm people have shown for getting a photo with a Westerner. Mostly, as a single white girl, I am not attracting too much attention, but it does raise a few eyebrows.
This is a selection of some of the best group shots. It makes me very happy to be welcomed like this.
Also, The China firewall is bloking WordPress and Facebook, unsurprisingly, and I am not sure whether these shots will go through. If someone wants to let me know if they are successful, you can post a comment on the blog, or email me at pen.lang.
I cannot change spelling errors either, so apologies for that.
Hope you all have a great day!!

Penny.

  1. Very nice photos. I don’t really know why the Chinese like to have photos of foreigners they have no connection with. Maybe you will find this out by the end of the trip as well

  2. Hi Pen, its Tom and Lizzie. We both love your blog. Its good to see all your photos[your beautiful smiley face] and share your journey. We started reading your blog when we arrived back from Tamworth with mum and Dad, we had an awesome time. Sounds and looks like you’r really enjoying yourself. What lovely photos. The Chinese people i’ve met here in Australia have always been so courtious, well mannered, kind. Sounds like your in a great country with great people. I’m sure they will take good care of you like one of their own.
